lmao at the people who think rent is voluntary and taxes are not. My dudes, if you want to build your own shelter and live off the land in the woods, you don't have to pay regular taxes either. If you want to live in civilization, you have to pay taxes, and you have to pay rent.

Apologists for capitalism figure it's ok if you can choose one employer to exploit you or another employer, or choose to starve. You had a choice! Also if a highway robber says "Your money or your life" & you choose to give $, how can you complain? You had a choice.

From what I understand, there are also people who don’t like working for an employer, so they start their own business in which they provide a good or service which other people want badly enough that they’ll give said business owner their hard earned resources to get.
