I don't know who needs to hear this, but you cannot ground math in logic using set theory without paradoxes related to self reference cropping up and ruining years of work.

I feel like after Godel mathematicians had their defence mechanisms propped up and with time they managed to sweep this under the rug. Now it's just bringing up uncomfortable memories.

Between Russell's type/token bit and the whole "reduction of mind" and "mind: identity theory of" surely there's a way to have an identity theory that explains away this problem of self reference.
