Cam you name one modem society which did not have some sort of police?
Anyone who thinks we can completely abolish the police is so naive. It's impossible. Because a we need police in the world? What? No, we've had societies without police. It's impossible because if anyone tried to do it for real the police would assassinate them.

The paradox of power is that we've always needed rulers and enforcers of the law, but also they become abusive and we don't know how to prevent that. Maybe on a small scale anarchism can work. I'm all for experimentation.
