Twitter is cool because you get to directly see people's thoughts from around the world, and it makes realize that people are just as stupid everywhere.

My honest opinion is that stupidity hardly even correlates with intelligence. There are so many people who are highly intelligent by every measure who are also somehow totally stupid about virtually everything.

If Heidegger had been restricted to 240 characters it would have been good for philosophy. At least twitter limits how much stupidity can be put out though admittedly increases the number of people who read it.
