does being correct... make you happy?
Whenever I feel sad, I think about how life is short, it is filled with suffering, and world is unjust. This comforts me because it assures me that I am in correct to be sad, and I do like to be correct.

This is exactly, but exactly, what I have spent many hours arguing with my psychotherapists and psychologists about, wrestling them down to a concession that yes, feeling profound sorrow is really quite the correct thing.

Modern life sells humans indirect antidepressants by being depressing. Advertising for actual antidepressants seems such a huge human-on-human cruelty that it makes ‘animal cruelty’ seem a side effect thereof.
