Philosophers don't think about the world, that's scientists.
There are generally two kinds of people who think philosophy is useless: 1. People who don't really know what philosophy is. 2. People who don't really want anyone thinking too much about the world.

Strange how so many seem to buy into the 'philosophy vs science' thing. Not every issue is a stupid YouTube battle where one (ill-defined) side gets OWNED. The various ideas subtly inform each other. It's a good thing. Chill.
