Young people don't get more conservative when they get older per se, they get more conservative when they inherit their parent's property.

Or, they get more conservative because they understand that when they were 22 they didn’t know anything about the world and know understand it is more complex than they can comprehend on any significant level so they think “ that stuff we were doing back then, seemed to work”
