I get people who buy into some kind of economic argument against communism, but imagine not even wanting communism. Imagine wishing that forever, until the end of time, we will organize society based on the will of the small minority who happen to own property. Why?

It was due to the replicator being able to create whatever was required. The system is a meritocracy rather than communist.
