Lol. 5000 years ago an Indian prince was traveling around explaining that the nature of life is dissatisfaction and the reason for that dissatisfaction is attachment. So we get *told* the truth, we just pretend we didn't hear it because it makes us uncomfortable.
The one thing they don't tell you about life is how annoying it is. Most things are just generally annoying if we are honest.
