I told my son, who has a degree in Psychology, that economists assume people are rational, and he laughed for at least 10 minutes, then said people are maybe 15% rational, on a really good day. So...back to the egg everybody!

Economic rationality =/= conventional rationality. Economic rationality means preferences are complete & transitive. Transitivity can get wonky for choices under risk, but that’s why we have behavioral economics. There, now you understand economic rationality.
