There is this old guy at my office that I swear is the most boring person ever. He tells like 30 minute stories about how he changed his oil or something. He's actually so boring that whenever he starts talking I listen intently, fascinated at how someone could be so boring.
He told a story about his kid gifting him Bluetooth headphones, detailing: - unwrapping it - his reaction - their reasons for giving it - setting it up - what he listened to - his reaction after more thought I was on the edge of my seat, wondering if he could drag it out more.

I love how some traits, if taken to extremes, flip themselves into their opposite. Like when someone yells all the time, so he becomes highly ignorable, or when someone's so kind they become repulsive. This one became interesting by being extremely boring.
