A philosophy webcomic about the inevitable anguish of living a brief life in an absurd world. Also jokes. https://www.patreon.com/ExistentialComics …

Plato - literally actually an aristocrat we know by his wrestler name, the embodied form of the prep-jock.
Mengzi - maximally preppy because it was his job to be fussy about decorum, but not quite maximally jocky because one suspects that he most certainly did not even lift.
Nussbaum - honestly should have been jockier (she most certainly does even lift) but I have already uploaded the photo now. Kinda preppy, but sometimes a bit more counter-cultural than this would suggest.
Du Bois - never did a day's real work in his life and most certainly did not even lift, but without anybody forcing him to wore a top hat and Prussian cavalry officer gloves, so maxing out on preppishness at least.
Wollstoncroft - ok I was actually torn on whether she should be more Goth but I ultimately think that is me just reading features of Mary Shelley into her, on her own merits she's neither especially goth nor prep nor jock nor nerd.
Neurath - would absolutely have been in a communist frat, but is after all just a little bit counter-cultural. Goth jock.
Camus - tbh I am very influenced by the @existentialcoms portrayal so here he is.
I'm a bit offended that he is bot maximum jock.
I think this was a point where my knowledge of Americana kinda failed me - I think that Camus should be exactly where The Fonz would be on this chart, and I guess that's where I thought it might be.
The Fonz was explicitly pitted against the jocks and was in an entirely separate vector of cool. Camus played soccer though, so how that shakes out I'm not sure. Seems like a mix between goth and jock is appropriate to me though.
It’s an understatement to say Albert “everything I know about morality I learned from football” Camus merely “played soccer.” Sisyphus’s rock is just a big dribbling metaphor.
Whoah So it's a cube!
