A Kant scholar told me Kant took his walk the same time every day to visit an English male friend who would read Kant’s work. The two would take a non-sexual afternoon nap together. The Englishman was a stickler about time. No idea if this is true but no less odd than other tales

Wasn't he also very very sexist?

Immanuel Kant was a real pissant who was very rarely stable, Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar who could think you under the table, David Hume could out-consume Schopenhauer and Hegel, And Wittgenstein was a beery swine who was just as schloshed as Schlegel.
