Immanuel Kant fun facts: 1. He took his walk at the same time every day. 2. He pretty much never left his home town. 3. He never married. 4. He was incredibly racist, even for the time. Like, super racist.

A Kant scholar told me Kant took his walk the same time every day to visit an English male friend who would read Kant’s work. The two would take a non-sexual afternoon nap together. The Englishman was a stickler about time. No idea if this is true but no less odd than other tales

Immanuel Kant was a real pissant who was very rarely stable, Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar who could think you under the table, David Hume could out-consume Schopenhauer and Hegel, And Wittgenstein was a beery swine who was just as schloshed as Schlegel.
