Actually, it's not even a Conan the Barbarian movie. It is a Conan the Barbarian miniseries where they just play all the episodes back to back in the theater.

Aquaman is cool because it's obviously just a big budget Dungeons & Dragons / Conan the Barbarian fantasy movie that calls itself a superhero movie for whatever reason. The reason that makes it cool is because Dungeons and Dragons is cool.

The only problem I have with D&D as an adult is that most settings have wealth disparity so profound it would make Crassus blush. The only problem I have with the Aquaman movie is the lead male role disrespects books.

I left the cinema thinking "There's gonna be a lot of aqautic
