its cuz knowing the what the truth is is the same as knowing the truth, and every time someone accomplishes that they phase out of space time completely leaving behind no trace, not even in memory.
lmao we've been doing philosophy for like three thousand years, and not only have we not discovered the truth, but we still can't even agree on what "truth" means.

Philosophers are one of the few groups of people who have understood how hard that question is, instead of preferring to live in a simplistic dreamland where it's "obvious." Not a philosopher... but that's the way it seems.
