My wife launched a Kickstarter called #DisabledAndHere, to create a photo series of disabled people of color for free use as stock photos, so our imagery won't just be the same old, white, ableist photos that we're used to seeing.

Philosopher Simone Weil said "attention is the rarest and purest form of generosity", and most basic form of attention is simply to acknowledge you exist. Yet even that many disabled people lack, especially with further marginalized identities, as they are rendered invisible.
