Like every six months I get the urge to buy one as a joke, but then I see that they cost like $6k. Did those guys really think everyone in America would spend $6k to not have to move their legs when walking?? They hyped it like we would have all these things in five years.

North San Diego has electric scooters on the sidewalks. You can rent them and then leave them wherever for someone else to use. May be experimental but if it gets people out of their cars why not? Walking is good exercise though.
