Yes, the question ppl are not asking is why a democratic society should have to depend on billionaires (never mind have them) to do stuff like fund education, healthcare, research.. this is the responsibility of government - the commonweal... or allow them to thwart the ppls will

No it isn't, we don't have to pay billionaires, they're chosen by our wallets. Don't like them, go to their competitors. A King has to be deposed forcibly, the connection is stretching.
