The point is that neither is a particularly good thing. Just because American capitalism hasn't yet reached the depths of hell, doesn't mean you should all continue in that direction.

As a driver, if I can be kicked out if my score is too low, then the same should apply to passengers. At least being banned as an Uber passenger isn't going to affect your livelihood.

well you see, in China the system is accountable to an oppressive government with a history of human rights abuses. In America, the system is accountable to a private company that is so reckless it has suppressed wages, accelerated pollution, & killed Elaine Herzberg
