Yes, there is no greater weapon against tyranny than bowing to oligarchs.
The Democrats aren't "spineless". They have some of the strongest wills in politics. Time and time again they refuse to back down, standing up bravely against their constitutes and fighting for what is good for their corporate donors.

If their constitutes have some wrong facts, like by misspelling words, should they stand up to their constitutes and correct them or just cave and start misspelling it the same way?

I mean I consider even mainstream "leftist" parties to be pretty moderate right. The Democratic party is still further to the right right than say, Canada's Liberal party.
