"but philosophy isn't SCIENCE" - every freshmen at college literally. lol Science isn't philosophy, that is just a process of slowly admitting that everything is philosophy.
Philosophy is important because someone has to tell college freshmen that they are all fucking idiots and literally every single thing they believe is wrong and dumb.

Unfortunately, a lot of students come out of philosophy classes thinking they're geniuses, because they spotted a flaw in a philosopher's reasoning, that the instructor was guiding them to.
