There are a ton of people who read my comics in the exact opposite tone that I write them. They think they are all snarky, viscous takedowns of various philosophers, and how bad their ideas are. There's enough nastiness in the world, friends, no need to add in what isn't there.
Even the comics about Ayn Rand are just silliness. She is karate kicking bread out of a beggars hand, this isn't some serious takedown of her politics! Humor is impossible for some people to relate to. I told a true story about today being stung 4x by bees, hit in the head by roofers, soaked to the skin and multiply perforated by thorny plants.Even when it was happening, I was laughing. It's life. Laugh or cry. I prefer to laugh
