Sometimes I think I am anti-capitalism, and then I read this account's tweets.
In a rational society, the purpose of building houses would be to house people. In our society, the purpose of building houses is profit. If housing less people is more profitable, then we simply don't do it.

Here in the UK, we used to call it housing, now it's universally known as property. Needless to point out, there's a not-so-subtle difference.
