In a perfect world yes but we are in a good race/bad race good gender/bad gender moment in time. Crowbarring in female voices just for the sake of difference is insane. Not every male got a chance to be a philosopher simply because of his maleness. There was some kinda scrutiny.

Huh? Ayn Rand is the best selling philosophical novelist in American History, and Camille Paglia is probably the intellectual most highly regarded by freethinkers. TZ Lavine"s "Socrates to Sartre" was a blockbuster. Who needs charity?
