@PeterSinger thinks about the first answer - at first glance I thought it was going to say U is self-effacing, so literally "teach them U is false" would be ... compatible with U? And I fear the second bit risks being a misrepresentation of Benatar... -
"Teach them utillitarianism is false" is totally compatible with utillitarianism. It's just a modernist version of Plato's noble lie.

Survival is the ultimate utilitarian calculus. Given our tendency to very poor behavior resulting in things like global climate catastrophe and widespread war Benatar's conclusion is likely well-supported. We could always change our behavior, but this seems a remote possibility.
