The rabbit is Sisyphus, the pursuit is the rock, the rabbit needs to love his situation, not the Trix.

It was, borrowing from Spivak, the ineluctible longing for the presence of Trix that kept him chains.

All he has to do is bide his time, then he can take out his aggression on his oppressors when they become adults, as "Trix are for kids". He can also, of course, start a goat farm and buy Trix in bulk with the "kids" as cover.

Or was the inaccessibility of the trix what made them desirable in the first place? I like to imagine the rabbit scarfing a bowl down in seconds, and then finding himself in a deep state of despair b/c desire was born out of the impossibility of acquiring said trix.
