People think it's in bad taste to make fun of a war hero, but my own dad was a war hero in Vietnam, so I know all about that. You see, he dodged the draft by telling them that he was a gay heroin addict, heroically saving the lives of countless Vietnamese.

My grandmother said it's bad form to speak ill of the departed. I still agree.
-
How could we ever criticize historical figures? It’s not like he tagged the family.
-
I wouldn't think it takes too much nuance to see the difference between self-righteously gloating over a man who died a few hours ago and criticizing John Foster Dulles. Decorum would point to a more appropriate time for reflection, but that's in pretty short supply these days.

I hope the charity you extend to others, comes back to you.
-
McCain dying was his only charitable act. War criminal, war profiteer, currently burning in hell.
-
Pathetic, and yet McCain would be curious enough to still talk with you.
-
Sorry, I try not to engage with evil people. He's dead and we should be celebrating!
-
Yes, its sad how bitter you have become.
-
It’s sad how much you cape for people who made money off mass murder

Come on man. The man left pieces of himself over there. You can disagree with with the overall motivations, but his courage is unquestioned. Sometimes people do the right thing for the wrong reason. In any case, now is not the time
-
If John McCain got his way he would have started like 4 other wars just as bad as Vietnam. Even knowing how horrible imperialist war is. No sympathy here.

Done more with his life then you'll ever hope to. Same as the people thinking just like you. Let that hate burn you up, you know you'll never win.

So predictable and boring. Almost everyone praising McCains integrity and honor, also critizes him for bad decisions. It's possible to analyze a person or a phenomenon on different levels. Appreciating and condemning simultainously. And I'm a european socialist. Unfollow

McCain does not deserve a spec of respect. There is nothing in his life that is worth appreciating. The revolution does not need the weaklings. The revolution does not need you. You are not a socialist. You are apologist. Good riddance!
-
Nothing in this life worth appreciating? That's sad bro'. The world is full on wonderful people and experiences. Curiousity, openness and love will take you to better places. I wish you all the best

Not "this" life. I said "his", the life of a warmonger McCain.
-
Then you should read more about his life. Criticize the bad. Appreciate the good.https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jrnRU3ocIH4 …
-
Wow! So touching. One war criminal does not let others talk shit about other war criminal. And this supposed to negate a millions dead in a wars conducted and supported by these two devils, McCain and Obama!? Just remove your pink glasses and stop praising war criminals.
