I actually agree with this to an extent but unfortunately all the mainstream media seems poised to do is divide the issue. I haven’t seen any mainstream outlet have the balls to try and suggest that America’s imperialistic foreign policy and racism reinforce one another.
Donald Trump ran on a platform of racism, and won because America is racist. The important takeaways from these events isn't that Russia also wanted him to win for geopolitical reasons, and helped him a bit. It's the thing about the racism.

Racism played a part. Russia is taking a lot of blame, but actually had a very minor effect if at all. This was mainly a rejection of establishment candidates, because people no longer trust them. Especially anyone named "Clinton". So they took a gamble with something new.
