A lot of pundits are spooked about "Democratic Socialism", but the policies are pretty straightforward and popular: 1. Healthcare for all. 2. Free education. 3. Housing as a human right. 4. Democratic control over which rich people get the guillotine. 5. A minimum wage of $15.

Medicare for all and taxpayer funded college, together, would require about a 10-15% increase in tax revenues which is doable. Housing as a right, however, seems much costlier and difficult to execute.

Or we float 2 less aircraft carriers (out of 10) and we have the budget to do it without any tax increase at all.

Ancient Athens had the practice of 'ostracism', where an assembly of the town could vote to exile someone for 10 years. There didn't have to be a criminal charge or anything, you just had to be such an asshole the majority of the city wanted you gone. We should bring that back.
