I shall never forget the day, shortly after I graduated high school, that I was at a party with a bunch of old rich people, and small talk turned to my career plans. Multiple people told me that one great way to make lots of money was to start a charity.

I find the notion preposterous, the only reason I'd start a business is to offer better working environments and higher wages, not to earn more than my employees (really, colleagues, since I don't want ownership unless shared by everyone working for the business)

also why would I take all that money I don't need for myself when it could be used as leverage against late capitalist practices?! sure, it might be risky but the only kind of bankruptcy I'm not gonna file for is moral
