Elon Musk is like the real life Tony Stark. I remember vividly in the comics how Tony Stark never actually saved anyone, but instead used every tragedy that got popular in the media to draw attention to himself, and attack journalists who didn't praise him for it.
Imagine being such a narcissist that even after you got a 100 times more attention than the rescuers who put their lives on the line, just for having your employees build a toy submarine no one asked for, and yet you STILL were upset that not every story was 100% praising you.
