While i do like scifi and don't care about sports, i need someone to explain to me how fantasy football is any different than rolling up a d&d character.

I'm both a scifi nerd and a sports nerd. Love looking at those football and basketball statistics.

@alapuchaka interesting podcast theme or too controversial? -
Def worth looking into! I think there's more to it. I'm also interested on how gender intersects these notions. Shout-out to

Whereas the causality is actually that being smart makes you like SF and dislike sports.

At least two of the actual smartest people I personally know have little use for SF and love sports (esp. the advanced analytical/statistical aspect). And I mean like 99th percentile smart. This proposed "causality" is nonsense.

Hello, I am very smart and unique because I like space war, hobbit ring and space trek, the multi billion dollar, universally beloved movie and tv franchises that have been a ubiquitous, inescapable staple of popular culture and commercial goldmine since the 70's.
