  4. I really admire those Geico commercials, because they haven't been funny in like 15 years, but they just keep trying. A true inspiration of persistence.

  5. Many people are claiming the world is in an ever accelerating downward spiral, but we all need to step back and realize that 2020 has brought a lot of great things already. Such as that Tom Brady is not in the Superbowl.

We need philosophy because no one was ever radicalized into revolutionary politics from learning mechanical engineering. Technical skills will only make the system more efficient, but we always need at least the possibility of reimagining the system entirely.

The other day on twitter dot com I made a claim that history can best be understood as a dialectical struggle of the material conditions between the haves and have-nots, and I was relentlessly targeted and harassed by HegelBros. When will Hegel denounce this disgusting behavior??

"I was born with the specific cleverness that allows me to manipulate financial data and win at stock market gambling, therefore I deserve a yacht which took thousands of man-hours to build, servants in my mansion, and the power to dictate workers of the companies I bought."

Liberals like to argue that the meritocracy doesn't exist, because billionaires had rich parents or whatever. Who cares? It's not as though having billionaires with thousands of servants to meet their every need is more moral because they were born clever, rather than rich.

One thing that absolutely sucks about politics is that almost every argument is fake. Everyone just gets on television and says fake arguments that have nothing to do with their real ideological differences. Just say what you actually want to do and why.

The cruelest thing anyone ever DMed me was they suggested I change the branding of this account from "Existential Comics" to my real name, because I had become such an "internet thought leader".
