I'm mad the cops STILL made her prove she belonged there when it was pretty clear what was going on. The cops prioritize his peace of mind over her right to exist in a shared space.
-
I thought that initially, but I think the officer was doing it b/c he knew he was on camera and felt he had to do it for the viewing audience to show how ridiculous Adam was being. BUT, notice even the swipe card wasn’t enough. He wanted her government issued ID.

They call 911 like it’s customer service
-
Very true. White people are used to police taking their side. They don't realize they're calling in people with guns, licensed to kill, amped up on adrenaline, expecting and ready for ACTUAL crime. Most white ppl don't get why that's So. Damned. WRONG.
-
That’s why they call. Naïveté about racism, in 2018, is not cool.

#IDAdam is no longer on the HOA board. He is also no longer their “pool chair”.pic.twitter.com/oxtJmPtvE3
-
Where is this from?
-
Looks like the Glenridge HOA of Winstom-Salem
-
The former chair of the HOA has been identified: Adam Bloomhttps://www.journalnow.com/news/local/racism-alleged-at-community-pool-after-white-man-asks-black/article_081feb9a-4f15-53be-a4ae-dd91b4e43e26.html …
-
So, he's no longer on the board that oversees the pool and he's being humiliated in front of millions. Okay, hopefully a life-changing lesson learned & an example for all of us of racism, but does social media really have to try to get the guy fired or start w/ the death threats?
-
Death threats, no. But yes, racism should be a firing offense. Pretty much any occupation requires cooperating and coordinating with people of other races. Those with racial animosity can't do that fairly or equitably; they're a menace in any workplace
-
THIS. Exactly.
-
Also let’s not forget that by calling the cops he put this Black woman’s life in danger. He should pay for that
