As it turns out, the logo for @AndroidStudio stable will be relatively different than the canary one. I'm not a fan of the full white background... I'd have to see it daily to see if I can look past that. But until is stable, I'll be doubtful. The Canary logo is great though! twitter.com/csinco/status/…

I'm not even sure why they gave me Early Access before it was even available on Windows. There was no place to report bugs besides emails (the current form is still not a good way to report bugs). Before yesterday's release, the last supported AGP was 7.2.2, released on Aug 3rd
I've been testing Relay (Design to Code) before it was made public yesterday.
It seems to be an awesome tool. I say "seems" because I never was able to fully try it out. Windows support was only added a few weeks ago, and building an app with it still doesn't work (on windows).
will soon *sell* usernames on an auction platform using cryptos.
It was heavily downvoted in a Telegram channel which first spotted it (see screenshot). Most people don't care about cryptos
Idk what's wrong with Telegram lately, it sucks

used to be awesome. But not only their website is becoming less and less interesting... Now, they decided to add "Re:" in the subjects of their emails to trick your email service into prioritizing them.
I'm definitely done with them. 👋
There are 2 important types of lists: ordered and unordered. Those custom bullets bring an ordered pattern to an unordered list and this is why I felt the need to zoom. Normal bullets were fine, the only thing those custom bullets bring is a sense of confusion. (2/2)
website is awesome, and I love it... for the most part.
Custom bullets are just *bad*. And I mean bad for accessibility. I have small vision issues, and the first time I saw those, I had to zoom in to see what they were. (1/2)
Custom bullets:
Applying special shapes to bullet points at such a small scale, and randomly rotating them with some simple CSS provides a sense of understated iconoclasm, pushing visual expression for the sake of expression, rather than strict utility.
Of all the stuff I've heard about Nothing, this gotta be the worst rumor I've heard yet.
What's the supposed proof that BBK owns Nothing? It's codenamed "Abra". What links the codename "Abra" to BBK? I'd want to say "nothing" but some people might understand it the wrong way.
This is hilarious and infuriating at the same time. The one app that should *always* be available on latest Android versions is incompatible with the Pixel 7.
Besides, it was last updated in 2019. So it doesn't even have the redesign introduced in 2020 on web, nor Material You.
.@MishaalRahman pointed out to me that the old, abandoned Play Console Android app requires ARM 32-bit support. If your device is x86 or ARM64-only, you can’t install it from the Play Store.
I couldn’t think of any reason it would need a native library, so I decompiled it.
Fleet looks great! However I'm definitely not a fan of having to use JetBrains Toolbox to download it. The toolbox is such a messy tool, I'd rather have a single updater built into each app than that toolbox.
Announcing the public preview of @JetBrains_Fleet
Fleet is our new distributed polyglot editor and IDE built from the ground up using the IntelliJ Platform on the backend and a brand new UI and distributed architecture.

Don't get me wrong. Some apps out there are displaying relevant data, and it's quite useful! However, not everyone verifies the data in some databases. So they are subject to mistakes.
As far as I know, Android apps (without root) cannot know the transistors' size of the device's processor. So, if an app shows this data, it's likely querying an online (or offline) database which may not be accurate.
Inware always displays data coming from your own device.
The Nothing Phone can be quite weird sometimes. If I charge it on my Pixel Stand, even if the phone isn't hot, I often get a warning notification that it is hot. But right now the phone is actually quite hot, and I don't even get a warning. 🤔

Of all the emails i deleted, I had to delete the one that gave me the link to the New UI Plugin 😮💨
I still have the New UI plugin, but I have no way to know if it was updated or something.
So I just got access to the new UI for JetBrains IDEs. I was afraid we would need to spend some time learning where features moved and all, but it's actually not that bad!
Although, I wish we could change that blue accent to something like #00DE7A cc @csinco
