The more I look at the new iPhones, the less I understand the rationale for bifurcating the notch/punch hole configurations. While the dynamic island might be slightly more aesthetically acceptable, it still seems super gimmicky (plus it creates a curious strip of negative space)

It's not that easy. I probably wouldn't get an iPhone for almost any reason...just like I probably wouldn't get any tablet /but an iPad/ for any reason. So there you go.

So obviously this was beyond thoughtless, but was it actually criminal? I'll argue that yes, it was, on the theory that -- had they been given full, honest details -- none of these job seekers would have chosen to settle down on a resort island /at the end of the busy season/.

It's absolutely disgusting that there's even a hint of controversy regarding the casting of non-white actors in the Lord of the Rings show, let alone so much harassment that the performers felt obligated to release a statement of condemnation.

Watching the carriers fall all over each other trying to present themselves as Apple's biggest fan, reminds me of Republican politicians, the eternal quest for MAGA authenticity and, presumably, Trump's fawning endorsement.
