President calls immigrants “animals”, says they’re trying to “infest” our country, will become gang murderers if allowed to grow up here, institutes policy of taking children from parents as deterrent. We’re only 18 months in. Did you think we’d get here?

Don’t dump all your interpersonal needs online. Do you have an intimate conversation in a crowded restaurant? Will you go to the movies to chat? Facebook etc are not meant to fulfill all your conversational needs. Choose spaces, friends and acquaintances with care

Arguing Trump can’t be racist bc of his release of a black mother egregiously sentenced to life for a non-violent drug crime after already serving 21 years after Kim Kardashian publicized the case is the equivalent of the meaningless “But I have a friend who’s Black” excuse.

More than 4,600 lives lost in Puerto Rico. 70x the official number. The US gov’t has failed its own citizens. The response itself is an American tragedy. Hurricane season is about to begin in Puerto Rico. The administration must step up & protect its people.

Dinesh D'Souza has long been a nasty and extreme ideologue peddling hate and racism. So he's a perfect recipient of Trump pardon.

MP Geraschenko: It's okay we faked Babchenko's murder because "Arthur Conan Doyle's hero Sherlock Holmes successfully used the method of staging his own death to effectively investigate difficult & complicated crimes." Right, okay then

By lying to the media, Babchenko and the Ukrainian authorities have made fools of everyone who reported yesterday’s “murder.” I apologize to all my followers for circulating what turns out to be total baloney. The lesson here is to distrust reports from Ukraine.

And we've known this. We've known previous death toll numbers flew in the face of common sense & reality. We know our President threw paper towels, gave himself a good grade, and moved on. We know history will remember this tragedy, and its tragedians. KNOW this.

the roseanne news is certainly news but it will be a shame if cable goes round-the-clock on this rather than, i dunno, that Hurricane Maria may have killed 70 times more people in Puerto Rico than we initially thought

In Roseanne’s defense, it’s hard to know the difference between racism that gets you fired versus racism that gets you elected President of the United States.

in the wake of the latest international report on MH17, naming the Russian perpetrators with great precision, worth remembering that in 2016 Trump refused to accept Russian culpability at all
