i get that women's haircuts take longer bc they wash and dry your hair for you... but i wish they'd sell those services separately bc i want a cheap 10 minute haircut without all the frills

You paid for the butterfly. People pay premiums on the same thing all the time because the packaging is prettier. The CHOICE is yours. A $20 cut or $200 cut. That's not gender discrimination. It's market positioning. A PR "rockstar" should understand the basics of marketing.
