Literally my little cousin is going through having divorced parents but nobody at her school even cares about those things. Black girls are literally always forgotten. We are putting her in therapy soon.

From a VERY young age, black women carry the weight of the world and people depend on them so early. From young black girls who have to be the second mother to the young black girl who has a dysfunctional household and has to keep it all together. It’s mentally exhausting.
