I personally tip but I don’t think it’s productive to shame folks for not tipping cause some people might only have money for food and wanted to enjoy a nice night out. Tbh you should tip during this time tho cause there’s no reason why you should be dining anyways

Nah, I feel like if you go to a sit down restaurant, you should always tip (unless the service is horrible). If you don’t tip, takeout and UberEats is available. I honestly feel bad for waitresses.
-
That’s true but I’m just referring to the waitress who shame people and tell them you don’t need to be going out. I personally tip especially if it’s an expensive place but they shouldn’t shame people

Until they get livable wages, we need to tip. Especially now. They're risking their lives out here because states said Corona aint nothing but a virus

Well they’re not being provided living wages yet so we need to be tipping. Period.

Yup but also I’m just talking about the ones who come on here and tell people you shouldn’t eat out if you can’t tip. I don’t think that’s fair to say

(It really isn’t, I can only speak for England but we tip all the time. But the catering business here is a bit different so tipping works differently. It’s not 10% per say. It’s kinda just what you have in your pocket. Coming from a former waitress)

We tip in Scotland too.
