Good book/movie though! As a kid I thought it was awesome how he rejected material things and money but nah. Lol black folks don’t got the privilege to burn all their money, sell their car and leave everything behind, they will probably end up missing or something.

the fact that he could walk into anywhere with no legitimate id or anything and get hired too... and literally did regardless of what he was wearing or the fact that he was technically homeless

Exactly!! And the fact that people were ALWAYS willing to help him or let him stay with them. Peak privilege cause there’s no many stories of homeless black folks or black nomads being killed cause people are afraid of them.
