I think people are literally fed up with rappers/ celebrities showing their gross amount of wealth when many are struggling. Them raps about money just not gonna hit as hard anymore

YEP— they’re apart of the chaos. they’re apart of the illusion/distraction. they’re robots - all they do is flash their gold chains and show off their cars portraying to the black community that THIS IS IT. this is what you should aspire to be.

I don’t want nobody to tell me that they have no responsibility in talking about political issues. HAVE YALL SEEN RAPPERS FROM THE PAST??? THEY WERE PROTESTING AND EVERYTHING.

Rappers want you to buy all their songs/albums but when it’s time to talk about black bodies being killed they’re silent. Bro that’s your community!!

We don’t need rappers to speak up they not our pastors and teachers that’s the problem y’all hold them to a higher standard than everyone else
-
That doesn't matter, we can worry about society's lack of appreciation for teachers later. Right now, rappers can be useful. They have the voice, the money, and the influence. It's not unfair to ask people to use their "power" to do more than ask people to buy their products.
