I can’t believe someone would post this. Putting a stigma on women like myself just because I have a white mother? Others I know in the same situation view themselves as black or mixed & don’t have self hate AT ALL. It’s people like YOU who are “different” and not in a good way!

Your tweet is colorism and full of hate. I’m sure you don’t have any mixed friends, and if you do- I hope they don’t give you any respect because this is ignorant af

it shouldn’t surprise u that being raised by a white woman would have different outcomes than being raised by a black woman. Just bc ur mom might be culturally sensitive does not mean that’s the norm. She didn’t mention skin tone at all so Idk how it’s colorism.

Wait girl, you saying ALL black ppl with white mothers be problematic/ anti black. I understand there are some, but you’re just putting us all in the same category and that’s not right. You putting down sisters, like me, who stand up for all black sisters.

Um yeah I’m an oppressed black woman just like you.... I don’t see what you trying to say there
I do read and educate myself, thank you. You need to word things correctly since you obviously didn’t. I’m standing up for myself, or am I just supposed to stay quite?1 reply 0 retweets 3 likes
We are not the same hun. I am a dark skin black woman, you’re light skin. Colorism is definitely a thing and our struggles will never be the same, especially since you’re biracial. So no you really need to educate yourself.

Yes I am a lightskin woman, I’m fully aware of colorism from experience. It goes both ways! But I’m not those lightskin girls that shit on dark skin women, so stop going at me like I am. I’m just standing up for myself as I should.

My mama white and I’m near darker than you Ms. Evelyn lmaooo your argument is invalid. I know plenty of biracials raised by their black mothers who grew up anti-black or unlearned their dislike for themselves and other black people. Please, I know anti-black FULLY black people.
