Wasn’t Ebola (and some others) worse and even more contagious? How were we able to keep living life but contain worldwide? Like legit question...

I thought it was highly contagious. I could be wrong but apparently SARS, bird flu and all of them were highly contagious

Ebola is highly contagious IF you are exposed to the pathogen, but to be exposed to the pathogen more or less requires direct exposure to infected blood or bodily fluids in some quantity, again IIUC.
