hereby the term biopsychism is born. @De_dicto do you approve? as in, a term for the biological realizer / vehicle view for phenomenal C (contra functionalism / representationalism). (i always find "physicalist view" potentially misleading; the others aren't dualist / idealists)https://twitter.com/VictorLamme/status/1258855709623693325 …

@evantthompson biopsychism. I like it. Would love to see your defence of it - seems close to my “beast machine” thoughts.3 replies 0 retweets 4 likes -

Biopsychism sits well with PP and FEP,
@MdKirchhoff in his Synthese 2018 paper, or me in 2014http://philosophyofbrains.com/2014/07/04/consciousness-in-the-predictive-mind.aspx …2 replies 0 retweets 11 likes -

would you say you're a biopsychist too,

Nope but I coined it: "If...PEM is sufficient for consciousness, then we would end with ‘biopsychism’, which says that all biological organisms are conscious. Biopsychism is vastly more plausible than panpsychism. But...I don’t think that very simple creatures are conscious"
