I’m reading on #integratedinformationtheory right now and trying to get it clear (spec. Koch’s “Feeling of Life Itself”).
I’m failing to see how IIT resolves the hard problem? So we’ve moved from stuff = qualia (somehow) to causal goings on = qualia (somehow). Missing somethin?

Thank-you!. I would agree on both points but I don't see that they contradict panpsychism. No panpsychist would argue that the most basic units of reality (whether matter or experience) are sentient. Could one not make a distinction between 'feeling' and 'feeling being alive'?

I don't see how--what is feeling w/out some kind of subjectivity, and what is subjectivity w/out some kind of individuality and vital affect? [1]

You pass close to the way of the Crab! Especially with insistence on subjectivity of information. How do you evaluate whether things matter to a system? Doesn't that assume a value system which *you* need to project?
