It's been interesting to see. I hope it's also partly due to my critique being a friendly one. I like to think that maybe the critique can help modern Buddhists get beyond Buddhist modernism

Some of us are more interested in going beyond post-modernism at this point, but there are many who will find this helpful! And cool of you to not be an asshole about it. Most critiques of Buddhist modernism I've run across come from smart yet deranged fuckers.

Ok, maybe. Depends on what you mean by modernism and post-modernism obviously. Would be curious to discuss this sometime, but will need to read your book first!
