At the very least, there's no god to hold the world together, and multiple partially independent mindstreams, so if it's idealism it's a wicked interesting form of it! This is why I mentioned Sonam's paper upthread, as Ratnakīrti gets closer to Berkeley by arguing for solipsism!

I read the vijñaptimātra claim as functioning within a soteriological project, where the distinction between grāhya and grāhaka has already been drawn. But that’s a point that requires a more substantial argument, and it turns on different ways of reading the broader landscape
