Where should someone with serious #celiac do a Mahāsi Method retreat? Food = danger (cross contaminations always a real risk)! I think I can do IMS, so this is a possibility next summer...but I'd love to hear other suggestions, or thoughts about this one https://www.dharma.org/retreats/568

If you have thoughts about the linked retreat, I'm happy to chat over DM as well...just looking for suggestions, as this is a practice I really want to learn and do some serious work with!

The real question is: why do I keep trying to ask questions like this on Twitter...I know full well that no one is going to have an answer...I should probably try Reddit...or dharma overground...

I've done two retreats at IMS, and if memory serves, they were pretty scrupulous about food and dietary restrictions.

This is why they are the place that I'll probably end up. I don't know any of the teachers on that retreat though...and I'm really interested in playing around with these specific kinds of dry insights practices :-)

I would be all over this, but I got called for grand jury duty, defered until the beginning of December, and if I end up serving It will run from then until mid-February...but i wont' know until December. The DC gov't is really throwing a wrench in my pursuit of awakening...
