I talk about Vedic philosophy (Yoga and Vedanta), not just Buddhism, throughout the book. I also use the term "yogic philosophy" to cover elements from both Hinduism and Buddhism

sorry, one correction, i actually watched ur google talk & didn't read the book yet. In google talk it was buddhism primarily, while the title of your book/talk/theme corresponds so directly to Mundaka Upanishad.. Buddhism doesn't even make any such direct statements.

The talk focused more on Buddhism, though the issue about deep sleep and consciousness comes from Yoga and Vedanta vs Nyaya. I'd say that Vedic traditions and Buddhist ones get equal time in the book.
